In the early 2010s I lived in Westwood, CA while attending UCLA for post-production.  A ton of movies had been filmed in Westwood over the years. In fact, the legendary Westwood Village Theater takes center stage in a crucial scene with Margot Robbie in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. When I lived in Westwood, Dinner for Schmucks had just come out. I remember renting it and seeing the Westwood Village Theater in the background of the scene where Paul Rudd hits Steve Carrell with his car. I literally left my apartment and walked the 3 blocks to Broxton Ave where they shot the scene.
