In "The Lost World: Jurassic Park," Los Angeles stood in for San Diego when the T-Rex gets loose and causes chaos. The sequence where the T-Rex terrorizes "Downtown San Diego" is actually Downtown Burbank on San Fernando Blvd in front of the Burbank Mall. When I lived in LA, I used to go to this mall all the time. There are some great shops and restaurants right on this strip. Glad the T-Rex didn't destroy them!
