In October 2018 I traveled to Northern California to knock a bunch of filming locations off my to-do list. While driving up the winding and terrifying coast north of San Francisco, we stopped for a moment in Stinson Beach where John Carpenter filmed the opening title sequence for The Fog. Stinson Beach is a small, beautiful town situated right on Bolinas Bay.
