Warner Bros Backlot- Hennesy St

Christmas with the Kranks was filmed in a lot of different places but these particular shots are ones I took on the Warner Brothers backlot tour in Burbank, CA in December 2019. I had a great time touring the studio with my sister who lives in L.A. but our tour guide wasn't that great. Make sure you do your homework before going or your tour guide might forget to point something out. FYI, the third picture was the best I could do. We weren't able to explore Hennesy St on the backlot as much as I would have liked because they were filming something at the time.

The 2003 remake of "Freaky Friday," starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, was filmed all over Los Angeles. This Particular location is the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California.

Warner Bros Backlot- Midwest St

The 1984 holiday classic "Gremlins" was filmed on both the Universal and Warner Bros backlots but these quick shots are of the small chapel on Midwest St on the Warner Bros Studio backlot in Burbank, CA. Also seen here is one of the houses used in the movie which was also famously used as the Seaver house on the 1980's family sitcom, "Growing Pains."

Venice Canals- Venice, CA

The 1994 big screen remake of "The Little Rascals" was so adorable! I'm pretty sure most 80s babies, like me, remember this movie. Arguably, the most famous scene is when Alfalfa sings "You Are So Beautiful" to Darla. That heart-melting scene took place on the famous Venice Canals in Venice, CA. I visited this location in December 2019 while visiting family in Los Angeles.
